First year of studies
In the first year of studies, the following compulsory courses are offered (60 ECTS):
♦ 4 courses of Ancient Greek Philology
♦ 3 courses of Modern Greek Philology
♦ 3 courses of Modern Greek Philology
♦ 2 courses of Byzantine Philology
♦ 2 courses in Linguistics
♦ 2 courses in Latin Philology
♦ 1 course in Folklore
Specialization in Classical Philology
During the remaining period of study, 180 additional ECTS must be acquired by choosing:
♦ up to 23 courses in Ancient Greek and Latin Philology
♦ 6 courses in Modern Greek Philology
♦ up to 4 courses in Linguistics
♦ up to 3 courses of Byzantine Philology and up to 2 courses of Folklore
♦ up to 7 courses in Pedagogy/Psychology (pedagogical training)
♦ up to 10 courses in other humanities
Some courses are seminar courses requiring a project.
Specialization in Linguistics
During the rest of the study period, 180 additional ECTS must be acquired by choosing:
♦ up to 16 courses in Linguistics
♦ up to 15 courses in Ancient Greek and Latin Philology
♦ up to 6 courses in Modern Greek Philology
♦ up to 4 courses in Byzantine Philology and up to 2 courses in Folklore
♦ up to 7 courses in Pedagogy/Psychology (pedagogical training)
♦ up to 10 courses in other humanities
In the last semester there is the option of preparing a Thesis (instead of choosing two courses)
Specialization in Medieval and Modern Greek Philology
During the remaining period of study, 180 additional ECTS must be acquired by choosing:
♦ up to 15 courses in Modern Greek Philology
♦ up to 11 courses in Ancient Greek and Latin Philology
♦ up to 7 courses in Byzantine Philology and up to 4 courses in Laography
♦ up to 4 courses in Linguistics
♦ up to 6 courses in Pedagogy/Psychology (pedagogical training)
♦ up to 9 courses in other humanities
