Faculty of Philology

The interinstitutional master "Ancient Greek Scripture: institutions and content" aims both to promote the philological and historical education of postgraduate students and to develop specific scientific research. Specifically, the Programme aims: in the context of the second cycle of studies, firstly, to broaden the knowledge of postgraduate students and to increase their specialisation in the basic and individual specialisations of philological and historical science, and secondly, to prepare them for the writing of a doctoral thesis. The Programme also aims to strengthen Papyrological, Palaeographical and Epigraphic Studies with emphasis on literary texts, as well as to meet the needs for specialised scholars in the public and private sectors both in Greece and abroad.
