Faculty of Philology

One of the main research pillars of the Faculty of Philology is the provision of high quality doctoral studies. Their aim is the formation of scientists capable of contributing to the progress of science and the production of high quality scientific research.

This Regulation defines the admission requirements, as well as the procedures for the preparation of a doctoral dissertation and the awarding of the Doctoral Degree by the Department of Philology:

The Department of Philology accepts applications for doctoral theses from 1-10 October and 1-10 March of each academic year. An invitation for the submission of applications is posted on the Department's website in the Announcement section. Applications are sent electronically via eprotocol.uoa.gr (application option 13).
