The Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme in Translation: Greek, English, Russian, was established in 2020 and aims to train postgraduate students in issues of discourse transfer between Greek, English and Russian, taking into account the specificities of the linguistic system of the three languages and the interaction of cultures, as highlighted through the translation of different types of discourse.

The MSc aims to use the undergraduate background offered by the collaborating Departments to broaden the interlingual perspective of postgraduate students towards languages and cultures that are not treated by the collaborating Departments in their undergraduate programmes, thus creating more attractive job prospects in the field of translation and developing the intercultural perspective of the Departments in the field of intercultural studies.
